Lisa Vedder

Named the Griffins’ vice president of finance in July 2023, Lisa Vedder begins her 28th season with the organization. She is responsible for the management and fulfillment of accounting and payroll operations for DP Fox Sports & Entertainment, which includes organizations such as the Griffins, the Grand Rapids Rise, Griff’s IceHouse at Belknap Park, Griff’s IceHouse West, and Griff’s Georgetown.

Beginning her tenure with DP Fox Sports & Entertainment in 1996 as an accountant, Vedder served as the Griffins’ accounting manager from 1999-2008 and director of accounting and tax from 2008-23. Vedder was named the Griffins’ Employee of the Year in 1998 before earning the Founders Overtime Award in 2015 for her career contributions to the organization.

Vedder assists in accounting and fundraising efforts for the Griffins Youth Foundation.

Vedder received her associate of business – paralegal major from Ferris State University before earning a bachelor's degree in accounting information management from Davenport University.

Vedder resides in Grand Rapids with her husband Steve.
