Comcast Local to Air Unique Game in an Hour Broadcasts
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. The Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday announced that Comcast Local (channel 23 in West Michigan) will televise all three of the teams North Division Semifinal road games against the Toronto Marlies this week, on a tape-delayed basis.
Comcast Local will air the Toronto Maple Leafs TV productions of Marlies Game in an Hour, a unique format that provides all 60 minutes of game action continuously, without commercials or stoppages in play. The schedule of next-day broadcasts is as follows:

The telecasts will be available in 1.4 million homes in Comcast Local markets across lower Michigan that include nine of the states 10 largest cities, most notably Grand Rapids, Detroit, Lansing, Muskegon, Holland, Flint and Port Huron.
Comcast Local is a locally originated, 24-hour supplier of local events, entertainment, and sports programming in Michigan. The channel is available, at no additional cost, exclusively to Comcast cable customers. In addition to the Griffins, Comcasts sports properties include Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame basketball and hockey, as well as Western Michigan football, basketball, hockey and baseball.
