NEW AND IMPROVED

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday announced the launch of a new and improved version of griffinshockey.com, providing fans with a one-stop shop source for the latest team information, ticket offers, promotional information, multimedia and much more.

The site features an overhauled main page that enables fans to have immediate and easy access to up-to-date information about the team, including recent news releases, feature stories, player statistics, division standings and ticket offers. The upgraded news rotator section now allows fans to catch up on the latest content from GriffVision, the Griffins’ YouTube channel, and quickly access multimedia links embed in Griffins news stories, including video highlights from every home game.

Griffins fans can also connect and discuss the team like never before through the implementation of Facebook comments at the bottom of news stories and feature articles. Access to all of the team’s social media pages is easily found through the front-page button for the Griffins’ social media page.

Navigation on the site remains simple to users who are familiar with the organization of the dropdown menus. Additionally, navigation pages can now be accessed by clicking on the category menu name to provide additional information on menu items and allow easier site navigation for users on mobile devices and tablets.

Many pages on the site were also redesigned, including the player bios on the team’s roster. Griffinshockey.com remains the preferred source to buy tickets, find upcoming promotions and community events, view recent photos and access live audio and video.

Griffinshockey.com was designed by Infinity Pro Sports, which is the web partner for nearly one-third of the AHL’s 30 teams. Infinity Pro Sports aims to provide technologically advanced web based software and services to professional sports teams and organizations.
