GRIFFINS WELCOME BACK BRUNNSTROM
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Red Wings on Sunday assigned left wing Fabian Brunnstrom to the Grand Rapids Griffins.
A native of Jonstorp, Sweden, Brunnstrom has recorded points in all three games he has appeared in with Grand Rapids this season, with one goal and two assists. The 26-year-old winger was returns the Griffins after being recalled by Detroit on Saturday. Brunnstrom has 43 points (17-26—43) in 84 career AHL games.
Brunnstrom is expected to be in the lineup today when the Griffins finish a season-high five-game homestand against the Oklahoma City Barons at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at griffinshockey.com.
