GRIFFINS ROPE IN NEW ACCOUNT MANAGER
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced the hiring of Travis Roper as a corporate sales account manager.
A native of Minden, Neb., Roper graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in sports administration and a minor in marketing. He joins the Griffins after more than five years of AHL experience with the Peoria Rivermen, where he worked in corporate sales for the past two seasons.
Additionally, Roper has worked for the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, a former AHL franchise, as well as the Iowa Cubs, the triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. He also brings eight years of sales experience in the construction industry, specializing in windows and doors.
