GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Consider this your one-stop, authoritative source for information on who could play for the Grand Rapids Griffins in 2018-19, who is unsigned, and where former players and coaches will be this fall.

Starting with Grand Rapids' season-ending roster then adding recent Detroit Red Wings draft picks and new signees to the organization, here are the players who could play for the Griffins next season, unless they make the Detroit Red Wings or are sent down to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye. (Bold indicates AHL veteran status, i.e. has played 261 or more games in the NHL, AHL and European Elite Leagues. AHL teams may dress no more than six veterans each game, not including goalies.)

Four players from the 2017-18 Griffins became restricted free agents. Their NHL contracts with Detroit expired, but the Red Wings could retain their rights by extending qualifying offers. Those who didn't receive qualfying offers have become unrestricted free agents.
