Utica scores three times in a span of 9:33 during the opening period before climbing onto the back of Jacob Markstrom and holding on for a 3-2 win over Grand Rapids in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Markstrom records 32 saves to help Utica withstand the Griffins’ 34-21 shot advantage and improve his record following a loss this postseason to a perfect 7-0. (Photos)

An imminent tornado threat in downtown Oklahoma City initially causes a delay of the start of Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals and an evacuation of all players, fans and personnel from the Cox Convention Center to an underground parking garage. An “all clear” is given after 45 minutes when the storm veers south, but in-arena flooding caused by incessant, torrential rain forces the postponement of the game until June 2. (Photos)
