San Jose uses an early surge, a trio of power play goals and a late empty-netter to take a 4-2 victory over the visiting Griffins, tying the Western Conference Finals at one game apiece. The Barracuda set a Grand Rapids playoff record for an opponent by firing 20 shots during an opening period in which they scored on their first two power play tries. (Photos)

The Griffins score three times within a 5:53 span of the third period – capped off by Luke Glendening’s series-clincher with just 4:03 remaining – to stun Toronto and advance to the Western Conference Finals with an incredible 4-3 victory in Game 6 at Ricoh Coliseum. Tomas Tatar scores twice to lead the Griffins to just the second upset in their playoff history and send them to the conference finals for the first time since 2006.
