Tyler Bertuzzi’s hat trick and three-point nights by Andreas Athanasiou and Ryan Sproul power the Griffins to a 6-1 win at Lake Erie in Game 5 of the Central Division Finals, as Grand Rapids becomes just the 18th team (out of 130) in AHL history to force a Game 6 after having trailed a series 0-3. Jared Coreau makes 35 saves to improve to 51-of-52 since entering the series. (Photos)

Tyler Bertuzzi scores his second goal of the night 13 seconds into overtime to lift the Griffins to a 2-1 win at Rockford and a commanding 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Semifinals. The fastest playoff OT goal in franchise history gives Bertuzzi five goals and three game-winners in just seven playoff games. Tom McCollum finishes with 27 saves and improves to 6-2 on the postseason. (Photos)

The Griffins complete their climb out of what had been a 0-2 series hole with a second straight home win over the regular season champions, rallying for a 3-2 victory over Texas to knot the Western Conference Semifinals at 2-2. Jeff Hoggan, David McIntyre and Andrej Nestrasil score consecutively in the second period while Petr Mrazek earns his 20th playoff win in less than 13 months by making 33 saves. (Photos)
