GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday assigned defenseman Bryce Charpentier to the Florida Everblades (ECHL). In addition, the team released defensemen Brett Angel and Tim Judy, along with forwards Robin Big Snake, Jeff Nelson, Cory Stillman and Daniel Tkaczuk. Twenty-eight players remain on the Griffins training camp roster.
Grand Rapids will take a 2-0 preseason mark into its final tune-up tomorrow against the Cleveland Barons at the Georgetown Ice Arena in Hudsonville. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. game will be available at the door, priced at $5 for adults and $3 for children under 18.

The first 3,000 fans will receive a 10th Anniversary commemorative poster.
