Right wing Jonatan Berggren had a historic season with Grand Rapids, registering a team-high 64 points (21-43—64) in 70 games. Berggren’s greatest achievement was claiming the Griffins’ rookie single-season scoring title on April 24 when he bagged his 60th point of the campaign.

64 – Berggren’s 64 points are the most by a rookie in a Griffins uniform
3 – Became just the third Griffin to achieve the AHL Rookie of the Month honors when he totaled 20 points (6-14—20) in 14 contests in April.
43 – His 43 assists are the most by a Griffins rookie, and Berggren is the first rookie to ever lead Grand Rapids in assists and the third to pace the team in either points or game-winning goals.
21 – The Swede’s 21 goals tied for sixth in Griffins rookie history.
7 – Berggren’s seven game-winning goals are the most ever by a rookie in Grand Rapids and ranked second in the AHL among first-year players this season. His three overtime winners are also a franchise record for a rookie.
11 – Ended the campaign on a season-high 11-game point streak (6-13—19), which included two points in each of his last four games. Berggren was named the AHL Rookie of the Month in April and joined Justin Abdelkader (Oct. 2008) and Tomas Kopecky (Feb. 2003) as the only three Griffins to achieve this award.
15 – Made his North America debut on Oct. 15 against Rockford.
1 – Scored his first AHL goal on Oct. 30 versus Milwaukee.
100 – Collected his 100th point as a pro during a two-assist night against Ontario on March 22.
17 – Finished the campaign with 17 multi-point outings, including two games with three or more points.
