3 – Joining the Red Wings organization as a free agent in the summer of 2017, Elson has notched 82 points (36-46—82), a plus-32 rating and 174 PIM in 190 games during his three seasons in a Griffins uniform.
3 – The seventh-year pro netted three game-winning goals, which were his most since depositing a career-high four in 2014-15 with the Adirondack Flames. Elson was one of four Griffins who had three GWG, ranking one behind team leader Matt Puempel. Two of his three game-winners came in clutch moments, as he lit the lamp with 1:58 remaining in regulation to break a 2-2 deadlock at Milwaukee on Dec. 28 and made Valentine’s Day a happy one for Griffins fans when he scored with 1:23 left to snap a 2-2 tie against Cleveland.
4 – Elson picked up an assist in four straight games from Jan. 5-11 to establish a new career high. His four-game point streak, during which he collected five points (1-4—5), also equaled his career best. It marked fifth time in Elson's career that he has gone on a four-game point run.
5 – Elson scored one shorthanded goal this season, one of four Griffins to tally on the man-disadvantage. This brings his Griffins total to five SHG, which ties for seventh all time in team history.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward posted an even or plus rating in 47 of

mark and tied for third in 2017-18 at plus-12.

him just one shy of achieving double digits for the fourth time in his
AHL career. He was one of four Griffins with nine goals this season,
tying for seventh on the roster.
61 – Elson skated in 61 of 63 games this season, second on the team behind only Dominic Turgeon,
who played every contest. Despite the abbreviated campaign, appearing

with the Abbotsford Heat on April 15, 2012 vs. Toronto, skated in his
